APA is currently investigating a ‘string of allegations’ made against Tyler Grasham, after actor and filmmaker Blaise Godbe Lipman took to Facebook to share a story about when he faced sexual abuse from a prominent agent from APA. He did not name the agent in his original Facebook post.
Lipman wrote that an agent allegedly got him drunk before sexually assaulting him:
After Blaise shared his story of sexual abuse to Facebook, he received a ‘poke’ from Grasham, who was not even connected with him on the website.
As a result of Grasham’s disgustingly brazen gesture, Lipman proceeded to post more details about the events.
Lipman then wrote that despite the fact there has been zero correspondence between the two men in over a decade, Grasham ‘passive aggressively’ poked him on Facebook. Lipman questioned whether it was “an abuser making himself known, a quiet threat or an admission of guilt with a smirky ‘just try me’.”
Lipman wrote that this was a tipping point for him, and he decided that it was time to name the man who allegedly abused him.
Following the posts made by Blaise on Facebook, an APA spokesperson said that “Tyler Grasham’s employment with APA has been terminated effective immediately.”
A further two men have accused Grasham of sexual harassment or assault since.
Lipman also wrote:
The Hollywood Reporter added that Finn Wolfhard has yet to sign with a new agency, but is being pursued by the Creative Artists Agency whose clientele include Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Saoirse Ronan, Steven Spielberg and many other huge names. Paradigm, WME, and UTA are also reportedly interested in the young man.
